Your information

CareMate privacy.

Privacy information for the CareMate Home Services app and this service website.

Updated October 20, 2026

Who operates this service

CareMate Home Services LLC provides the home services offered here. This notice covers the CareMate Home Services iOS and Android apps and caremate-home-services.sabsus.site. For privacy questions, contact assistance@caremate-hs.com or (218) 349-9583. The company contact address is 1837 Woodland Avenue, Duluth, MN 55803.

Browsing and signing in

You can browse services and prepare an estimate without signing in. If you sign in, the service processes your email address, account identifier and authentication session to open your account. Email and password authentication uses Firebase. In the mobile app, the sign-in form passes the credentials to the app's authentication mechanism. Account access remains limited to your company's assigned permissions.

Service requests, orders and payments

When you request or arrange a service, we process the information you submit, including your name, email, phone number, service address, property and estimate details, access notes, selected services and appointment preferences. We also process order, booking, payment-status and receipt records needed to manage the service. Card payment details are handled by the payment provider shown during checkout; payment confirmation and transaction references are used to update the order.

Messages and callbacks

If you contact us or request a callback, we process your contact details and the content of your request. The callback form explains when a virtual assistant is used and when the call may be recorded, and asks for your permission before submitting that request. Requesting a callback is optional and is not a condition of purchase. SMS preferences and opt-out instructions are provided with the relevant messaging service.

Notifications and device information

If you enable notifications, the app registers a device identifier and push notification token so that updates can be delivered to that device. Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on iOS, Apple Push Notification service support delivery. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings. Technical information such as device platform, app version, request timestamps, network address and error records may be processed to operate and troubleshoot the service.

Optional permissions and files

Camera, photo or file access, microphone and location permissions are requested only when you use a feature that needs them. Uploaded files, recordings or location information are processed for that feature when you choose to provide them. Browsing the catalog does not require these permissions. You can review or revoke app permissions in iOS or Android settings. Customer browsing does not enable technician location sharing. Authorized field technicians can enable GPS sharing during an active work shift so dispatch can follow travel to a service appointment. In CareMate for iOS version 1.5.0, build 555, location is shared only while the app is open; it pauses when the app is backgrounded or the screen is locked. Technicians can stop GPS sharing or finish the shift at any time.

Service providers and storage

CareMate uses the SABSUS service platform and its hosting, database and authentication providers, including Google Firebase, to run the app and website. Authorized CareMate staff and the providers needed to carry out a requested service may process the relevant information. Payment, notification and communication providers process data required for their respective functions. A request to an external website, map, image or social-media service is also subject to that service's privacy information.

Sessions and security

Authentication cookies and local app or browser storage keep your session and preferences. Network requests use HTTPS. Signing out ends the active account session; it does not delete existing service or transaction records. Shared devices should be signed out before another person uses them.

Retention and your requests

Account and service records are retained as needed to provide the service, maintain relevant business records and meet applicable obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your information or account by emailing assistance@caremate-hs.com. Include the email associated with your account and the request; do not send your password or full payment-card details. CareMate may need to verify your identity before acting and may need to retain certain transaction or business records.
